Medical Hair Restoration has more surgeons who are Board Certified by the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery than any other practice.

The doctors at Medical Hair Restoration, many of whom are also hair transplant patients, are personally selected by Dr. Matt Leavitt. MHR has more surgeons who are board certified in hair transplantation surgery than any other hair replacement practice.

Before surgeons are selected to become part of the MHR team, they must excel in the diagnosis and treatment of hair loss. Each doctor-candidate must demonstrate superior artistic ability in creating a natural hairline and the blending of transplanted grafts into thinning hair. They must also have earned a reputation as a compassionate physician that treats each patient with care and respect.

Once a physician displays these qualities, he/she undergoes a rigorous training program under the supervision of Dr. Matt L. Leavitt, Founder and Medical Director of Medical Hair Restoration.

MHR offers one of the few fellowship programs that are recognized by the international Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. Our surgeons undergo a rigorous hair transplant training curriculum, but learning does not end at the fellowship. Through continuous research efforts, Medical Hair Restoration surgeons have pioneered new techniques in hair replacement surgery and actively lead the education of other surgeons in the field.
